Phaleas the Rebet.

When the old marries the "new", When "radical" traditional music marries free improvisation, when greek patriot leftist music preferences meets "avant guard" and noise music, when old school Oedipal syndrome and misogyny engages with contemporary "rockstar" machismo, when Greek heroic sexism falls in love with toxic masculinity then…… “Phaleas is becoming a “rebet”.

O.C.D. (Oppositional. Contemporary Dancefloors).

O.C.D. is a transformable, mobile, nomadic dancefloor protesting against the racist and ableist “face control ” problem in night clubs and bars of Oslo. The project started in summer 2017 by Janne Maria Lysen and Lykourgos Porfyris. O.C.D. doesn’t have a place to stay! It doesn’t belong to any club, bar or stage.
